Thanks for your comment. It is an important point that you are making. The mulch we make is pervious. In other words it allows the water to pass through even though the fibers have locked together. Our plants have demonstrated above average drought tolerance with this mulch spread around them. Is that what you were wanting to make sure of? If so rest assured this mulch is great for plants and trees. I always suggest fertilizing the plants when you put down new mulch due to the fact that mulch uses up some nitrogen. Even so, the ISA says that mulch is trees best friend.

Mr. Lomdardo , I’m from the upper Michigan and I’m in Joplin with a michigan log truck and can haul 100 yrds at a time. I have a contract right now but for some reason they say they have no more work. We have stormed with all hurricanes and we do things by the book and have never dissappointed anyone. We lost a house in the Joplin Tornado. I have a D4 hightrak with 6-way blade and numerous chainsaws. I would like to contract to clean lots and pile debris for later pickup.

Have just finished doing tornado clean up in NC for DOT. Wanted to see if there is any storm work in Alabama or Joplin. If not, I would like to get registered to do some hurricane work. Have worked storm clean up in Texas, Mississippi, New Orleans, Florida and in North Carolina. I have all insurance and any equipment needed to do storm clean up work.

My name is Dave Hayes. I was on the Disaster Relief Crew at Hurricane Katrina in 2006. I am experienced in all tree debris clean ups. I can run grapple trucks, skid loader, loader, dozer, track hoe, bucket trucks, etc… I have my own tree crew here but I could also manage 2 -3 crews if needed. I am very interested in a subcontractor position with the disaster clean up crews.
I forgot to also note that I have a Class B CDL, Heavy Equipment Certification, a 10 hour OSHA card for construction, safety and health, CPR and first aid certified.
